Anal cancer will be diagnosed in more than 10,000 people and kill nearly 3,000 people in the US in 2024. Save The Bottoms aims to:

• Educate and inform people at higher risk of anal cancer and provide screening and treatment options
• Educate and support providers who see and treat members of high- risk populations
• Investigate new and innovative methods to increase screening for anal cancer
• Make sure those who screen positive have access to high-quality treatment, especially High-Resolution Anoscopy (HRA)
• Learn about LGBTQ+ people’s experiences with healthcare, especially as it relates to cancer screening and care
