As we gear up for this year’s NAGVA Minneapolis Tournament, we’re thrilled to host the Mad Hatter Spring Pair Tournament on Saturday, May 2, 2026!

Cost per pair: $89 (Paypal required)
Fee includes:
- Limited edition tournament long sleeve performance shirts (shirt sizes must be entered during registration)
- Meal vouchers
- and more fun extras!
Divisions
- King – BB / A Players (NAGVA Rating or Advanced / Upper Intermediate) – 30 Spots Left
- B players can register in this division.
- Queen – B / C players (NAGVA Rating or Beginner / Lower Intermediate) – 54 Spots Left
- Higher rated players cannot register in this division.
- Players must be familiar and have experience with 5-1 rotation
Team Format
- Pool Play – On the day of Tournament:
- Each pair will draw their pair number.
- Teams will be composed of three pairs.
- The schedule of pool play and team composition will be posted. Pool play is designed such that a pair will be in a team with another pair only once.
- Bracket Game
- Teams will be formed based on Pair points gained during the pool play, i.e. the top 3 pairs will form the first team, the second 3 will form another, and so on.
- In cases where this will result in teams getting more than one setter, adjustments will be made.
Guaranteed four, two-set matches
Registration is done by pair
- Players who prefer to play as a setter must indicate this during registration. This is to allow distributing the setters to different teams for Pool play and Bracket Play.
- Pairs that don’t make it into the division caps will be waitlisted.
- No restriction on Gender Pair rules
